A ferry nice way to get home

As we are due to leave Australia in a matter of days we took the opportunity to visit my cousin Kieron one last time before we left. He has been in Australia for three and a half years and we saw him at the start of December and wanted to wish him farewell before we go…who knows when we’d see him next. We met at McDonalds in the Circular Quay area and treated ourselves to a 30cent ice cream cone – which are delicious by the way – and took a few photos before we walked to Harry’s (the pies we raved about when we first arrived in Sydney) for a pie, which we were very kindly treated to by Kieron and said our good byes.
Joel's pie - the 'Tiger'
Nic's pie (Veggie with cheese sauce)

We’d been to and from Sydney so many times by train that sometimes it’s nice to vary it up a little. We hopped on a ferry at Circular Quay and headed past the Opera House and underneath the Harbour Bridge on a ferry lovely ride home (get it?) past huge houses and extravagant boats before we caught the bus from the Cabarita ferry wharf back to Burwood.
